This moring I am joining the MoJo Monday sketch challenge ( MOJO229) for the first time ever! The fabulous designers at MoJo Monday give you a sketch each week to work with. I decided to make a Graduation themed card for my challenge sample.

I used the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set that you can earn FREE during Sale-a-Bration (now-March 31st.) I also used the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder – another possible choice for your free item with any $50 purchase!

While this cover is beautifully designed, I prefer my designs a little simpler so I did delete a few of the embellishments and tailored the project to suit my style and my needs. Here is what I ended up with:

Today I am sharing another scrapbook page from our Florida trip of 2011. (Oh I miss the beach!) As a gift for my parents I created an album of our trip using the My Digital Studio software. I am the first to admit that I do not do a lot of scrapbooking. When I do scrapbook, I like to create a calendar or a book rather than individual pages. For this project I used a book template that you can purchase as a digital download. The template is called the Top 10 photobook (item #125161) The template includes 24-pages that are beautifully designed for you- see the image below for an idea of what the pages look like. There are photo boxes built into the layouts and you can use the template as is by simply  dropping your photos into the photo boxes. For the more adventurous designer – you can fully customize the pages by adding or deleting any of the papers or embellishments that you choose to. You can also copy the page layouts and add extra pages to your book.  (11 embellishments and a 14-piece stamp brush set are included with the download.) I will  post more pages in the next few days.

What do you do once you try it and like it?
Once the 30-day free trial period is over, you can purchase the downloadable or disc version of the software to continue using it. You’ll simply open up the trial version you already have on your computer, and will be prompted to enter the product registration key you received after purchasing the software. (You’ll receive this key via e-mail if you purchase the downloadable version, and you’ll find it along with your shipped software if you purchase the disc version.)

Sale-a-Bration begins tomorrow!

 Only a week until Christmas! There is just enough time for me to post a few more Christmas ideas. Today I am featuring a card made using the Pennant Parade stamp set (122740 w/ 122742 c) and coordinating Petite Pennant Builder punch(122361).

Start by stamping your trees with Always Artichoke ink onto the same color cardstock. **Tip – stamp with the points closest to the edge of your paper so you can punch them out with the Pennant Builder punch. Stamp and punch out three “trees”.

Fold your trees in half with the stamped image toward the inside.

Once your trees are folded, tape or glue them together by stacking them one on top of another. After stacking all three trees together you can open them up so they form one 3D tree. Attach the tree to your card front and you will have a fun 3 dimensional card. The tree is also assembled in a way that will allow you to flatten it when you mail it.

Project Recipe:

Whisper White Cardstock (100730) - 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and 2 1/2″ x 3″- round corners with the 3/16″ corner rounder punch (119871), Real Red cardstock (102482) – 4″ x 5 1/4″, Always Artichoke cardstock (105119) for the three tree punches, 5/8″ Real Red Satin Ribbon(117286), Always Artichoke Classic Ink (105219),   Real Red Classic ink (103133), Basic Rhinestones(119246), greeting from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (115370).
